Babylon really stirs the imagination... It was the world's first great city and was part of Mesopotamia, the cradle of civilization. It is where agriculture and animal husbandry, astronomy, mathematics and writing were born, to name a few.
Cuneiform writing was created by people who carved and drew on clay tablets and rock surfaces. This clay carving technique was the inspiration for the Babylon collection. The designs could be defined as true works of art: large clay tablets molded by hand with extreme precision and then turned into detailed creations that have the appearance of plaster.
