LÖFSTAD
Our Löfstad Castle collection is born of the unique treasure of painted papers belonging to the Löfstad Castle. A centuries-old archive containing thousands of deeply rooted stories coupled with patterns, colors and structures. The sense of Miss Emilie Piper's style gave the castle its beautiful frame and even today, almost a century after her death, the warm feeling of a home full of life is really evident.
Respecting the location, stories and people who once lived there, we created an elegantly subtle collection. Wallpapers where each pattern has a unique ability to decorate a room, along with a palette of deep colors to provide a sense of harmony. Wallpapers to enjoy for a long time.
The collection is a mix of original expressions and natural beauty. Many of the patterns are original from the castle, carefully interpreted by our study. The combination of soft and off colors with remarkable patterns results in a collection that brings to mind the arts and crafts in their artistic expression. The collection of the castle of Löfstad is our interpretation of a period of early century, in which words like "authentic" and "beautiful" were held in high esteem. A time when details and interior design were equivalent to personal authenticity. Something that prevails until today.
For the most part, the wallpapers are printed on the surface; a traditional print method that gives the wallpapers a dynamic and hand painted sensation. A conscious choice to equip the collection with the exceptional and unique feeling it deserves.
