Papiers Peints Panoramique is the name of the spectacular genre of block printed panoramic wallpapers that developed in France during the first part of the nineteenth century. All our designs are hand painted with the same style as the wallpapers printed in original blocks, which gives flexibility to customize the colors and patterns. The designs typically represent exotic scenes around the world; some are close reproductions of ancient papers of the nineteenth century, as well as internal designs created with the same spirit as the originals. The collection includes elegant monochromes of colors and rich lacquered backgrounds that can be used to create a dramatic and contemporary feel.
