MARQUETERIE
The natural product sisal, a strong fibre from the agave plant, forms the basis of the Marqueterie collection. The pieces of natural fabric are hand-cut and hand-laid in different patterns. The traditional marquetry or inlay reveals striking geometric figures. Both the different weaving direction and the colours create an unusual depth and texture in this 100% handmade wallcovering. Depending on the incidence of light and the position in which you look at it, a subtle sheen is visible.
