We cannot know what the music of the ancient Egyptians sounded like, but we can dream of the grace of their dancers and the exoticism of their dances in impressive palaces on the banks of the Nile. The land of the pharaohs has lost none of its power to fascinate and continues to evoke a world of magic and adventure. Lladró's artists have recreated the dresses of the young dancers from the paintings of the ancient temples, painstakingly reproducing the crowns, bracelets, anklets and all the rich ornamentation that makes this piece a true jewel. It is decorated with gold lustre applied over large areas of the piece. The combination of gloss and matt allows the filigree covering the dancers' dresses and jewellery to be further enhanced.
