Children's Day is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month and on this occasion dolls dressed in samurai armour are displayed in homes to wish the little ones healthy growth and to symbolise the virtues of courage and determination. This creation, made of black porcelain, stands out for its lilies, made petal by petal by Lladró's expert craftswomen.
