An African proverb says: If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go with others. When the dry season arrives in the savannah, female elephants lead the herd on an ancient route in search of water. Sabana Africana is a masterpiece more than a metre long that stands out for its perfectly modelled forms and the richness of textures that only Lladró artists are capable of achieving. With their hands, they turn porcelain into the rough skin of elephants and the soft fur of giraffes. A degree of realism that is enhanced by the matt finish, which accentuates every crease.
