Description:
Flamingos are one of the most stylised and striking birds. Their name means "flame" or "flame" and was given to them by the Egyptians because of their fiery red colour, as they were considered a representation of Ra, the god of the sun. They are very long-lived birds and, in addition, among many other curiosities, recent studies have observed that they are animals that establish strong bonds of friendship among their own kind. The symbolism that surrounds them and their peculiar anatomy have led Lladró's artists to depict them in this creation. A pair of flamingos made of matt porcelain decorated with a surprising pink and gold lustre decoration. The result is a highly suggestive proposal with a decidedly contemporary character.
