FABRICS Taidai Avorio 30214-001

It is a fabric that combines three-dimensionality and decorative simplicity. It derives, as its name suggests, from the observation and study of Japanese textile artefacts produced with an ancient oriental binding and dyeing technique called Tai Day. The relief that this technique produces on the textile surface has been recreated in Taidai thanks to the use of special warps and wefts, capable of reproducing the effect of the original artefacts. The result is a three-dimensional fabric, where even the use of a very simple decorative motif, such as the stitch, becomes a character of refined contemporaneity. Suitable for frequent use, it is available in 15 colours.
