The Origami collection is also joined by this imposing elephant, an animal which, when depicted with its trunk upwards, symbolises good luck, prosperity and victory. Like the rest of the pieces in this collection, it represents a contemporary and innovative vision of the traditional Japanese art of origami, in which the geometric shapes produced by the folds of paper are transformed into facets of great sculptural and decorative power. It is made of matt porcelain decorated in black with yellow details in the eyes.
