Hanuman, the monkey god, the faithful companion, is together with Rama, Sita and Lakshman one of the four characters of the Rama Darbar, representatives of the family ideal. Hanuman is shown wearing a helmet, as befits his divine origin and in a position of adoration to Rama. It is handmade in matt white porcelain and for its decoration a golden lustre has been chosen, which stands out against the white background and enhances the sculptural and ornamental work of the piece.
