Illustrating the idyllic beauty of a wildflower meadow, this Arts and Crafts style floral wallpaper features bluebells, daisies and dandelions. The traditionally printed design has an elegantly crafted texture with slightly embossed inks that give character to the flowers and subtle texture to the tiny flamed effect of the background. It creates a charming ambience in any room and is perfectly suited to its original title "Sweet Home". The cream colour provides a subtle backdrop of soft, harmonious tones.
Available in 5 colours: Original Prussian Blue, Forest, Light Blue, Spring and Cream.
Inspiration from the Flower Meadow archive: Dulce Domum wallpaper, Walter Crane, (1845-1915), woodcut on paper, manufactured by Jeffrey & Co, England, 1904.
Walter Crane was a devout socialist who firmly believed in the transformative power of regularly exposing individuals from all socio-economic groups to the arts. The Latin name of the motif, Dulce Domum, translates as "Sweet Home" and was created by the renowned printer Jeffrey & Co. in 1904. Reimagining Crane's woodcut printed wallpaper was made easy by the expert printing skills of the 1838 Lancashire factory.
