Description:
Guillaume Grando, known under the artistic name of Supakitch, is the author of the two new The Guests. Supakitch began his career as a graffiti artist in the early 1990s and, since then, the fluidity required in the application of graffiti has marked the sinuosity of the strokes of his work. His creative proposals focus on gesture, movement, liquid matter, colour and the reflection of light. These elements are masterfully captured in the versions of The Guest that he has worked on for Lladró. Porcelain and, in particular, the use of degraded pearlescent lustres, have proved ideal for reproducing this water effect to which the reflection of light seems to give movement and depth. A result that is reinforced by the volume of the waves that cover the surface of the pieces.
